Bathing in the Field (Tokyo University of the Arts / On Utopian Sentiments)

As part of the event series On Utopian Sentiments, organised by MANOS and Shared Praxis, Lydia Xynogala delivered an online lecture titled “Bathing in the Field” at Tokyo University of the Arts. Together with other thinkers — including Franco “Bifo” Berardi, Miltos Manetas, David Horvitz, Chiara Smedile and Sean Ceroni — the talk considered bathing not only as a bodily act, but as spatial, ecological and utopian practice: a way to rethink architecture, body, land and shared water imaginaries in contemporary contexts.
